About The Garrick Theatre

Right in the heart of the West End between Charing Cross and Leicester Square, the Garrick theatre is a medium-sized London venue. It seats 718 people split across three levels, sharing the area with the National Galleryand Trafalgar Square, opposite the National Portrait Gallery. Considered to be an intimate theatre, in actual fact it is a standard-sized venue traditionally decorated in an Italian Renaissance style. The surrounding area is full of interesting cafés and restaurants and is a particularly vibrant part of central London.

Fun, funky show
Great show excellent acting and dancing the character Oliver was particularly good but Nancy was also excellent. The lyrics were clever and kept my attention. I didn’t really know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I would see it again! We also liked things like Hamilton, Book of Mormon and Six.

Loved it!
The musical was brilliant, the cleverly written and performed songs were outstanding at the ensemble and band brought it all together. The story line was ok, but it didn’t matter because the musical numbers were so good. We in the cheap(er) seats sat at the back of the grand circle, the view was fine and plenty of leg room. There’s plenty of F-bombs throughout the script so I’d recommend it’s best for ages 16+ Overall a brilliant night out!
