History is really, really boring, right? Wrong. Luckily we don't like to take ourselves too seriously in Britain and this, the latest and third in the Horrible Histories series, is set to create a stir in theatreland. This is silliness personified, so head to the Garrick theatre for a splendid show absolutely packed solid with hilarity, rude noises, rude words, outrageous propositions, daftness, eccentricity and derring do. A real treat for the school summer holidays!
A stage comedy made up of sketches poking fun at crazy historical characters, manic kings, loopy queens and top class British eccentrics, this is the funniest, most entertaining, crazy, rude and naughty look at Britain's splendid history... ever. It delivers genuine belly laughs, perfect for history-shy kids with its non-stop entertainment. And it's just as entertaining for historically-challenged adults. If that's you, you'll probably learn loads. The show stars a host of famous folk like Lord Nelson and The Duke of Wellington, the famously uptight Victorians and King Charles, and even takes the mickey out of the First World War... in the most deliciously funny way.
