This is stirring stuff and the acting talent alone makes it something extra-special to look forward to.
On stage at the beautiful old Garrick theatre between 17th October 2015 and 16th January 2016, it's hard to believe this inspiring story is almost four hundred years old. What's the story? The play is all about King Leontes' court in Sicilia, and the King's friendship with the flirty King of Bohemia. Everything's coming up roses until the Bohemian King and Leontes' wife become a bit too fond of one another. The all-seeing Oracle of Delphi declares the queen is innocent, but Leonte banishes her anyway. What's next in this fine Elizabethan soap opera? Come along and find out!
